Head across it and follow the path past some large glowing mushrooms and up another slanted ramp made of a crumbled column. Once both are lit, a platform ahead of you will rotate into place, allowing you to progress forward in the temple. Rotate them until the silhouette matches the image (it will brighten up considerably when they match up, and a small lit square will appear above it). The panels on either side of the glowing beam control the silhouettes being cast onto the Sun and Moon depictions on the wall. Since these can only one way, specific directions of rotation are not provided. The order outlined below is one way of many ways to solve the puzzle. To this end, glowing shape behind the Sun/Moon on each platform gives a hint to how far and which direction the column will rotate. In this case, to rotate the beam of light coming from the central column onto the glowing square on one wall. Similar to the puzzle in the Vault, this will require powering up the one Sun and three Moon platforms. Once in there, keep right until you reach a river, and follow the river to the right to find a platform with a glowing sun and two glowing moons. Swing by the tablet for some worldbuilding lore before heading through the door across from where you first entered the hall. Past this, you will come to an open space on your right will be another red-glyphed tablet offering more lore, to your left will be a large, long hallway, and ahead of you will be another smaller hallway. Follow the path into a hallway lit with several glowing mushrooms and housing a crumbled statue. The stairs will curve around to a shattered pathway that will require some jumping to navigate. This is a simple vertical platforming puzzle find the lowest pillar in the back right corner of the room, and hop to the next highest one. Continuing along the path will bring you to a room where pillars arise from the ground as you approach them, and lower if you walk away. While it is irrelevant whether you complete the Sun Puzzles or Moon Puzzles first, we will begin with Moon for ease of explanation.įrom the red-glyphed tablet, turn to your left and hop down from the ledge to follow the river. Examining these glyphs will yield a short rhyme with further world lore. Going straight across the river will bring you to a large group of ghosts in front of a vertical stone slab covered in red glyphs. The tablet will offer a clue about how to solve the coming puzzle.įollow the path upward to a river and a more open area, with several branching pathways and clusters of ghost people doing various leisure activities. At the top, you will see a large stone tablet filled with writing to the left, and a hallway into the heart of the temple to the right. Keeping your lamp out as you serpentine up through the ruins will help alert you to the ghostly figured that are climbing the path as well, giving you clues as to where to go next. Follow the path around to the ruin that has been knocked askew, creating a natural ramp to the next level. Once inside, keep your lantern out to pick up some worldbuilding comments from the ghostly figures scattered throughout the entrance to the Sanctuary.
